All three of these lovely Protists is unicellular.
Some of the multicellular protists are Daphnia, Stentor, and Volvox.
The three main groups of protists are Plant-like (the Volvox and the Euglena), Animal-like (the Amoeba, Paramecium, and the Daphnia), and Fungus-like (The Oomycota and Slime Molds).
The protist I'm going to focus on is the Euglena.
It's Unicellular, has one cell.
It is both an Autotroph and a Heterotroph, it can make it's own food, and can also eat other organisms for food.
It lives in the ocean, and in freshwater.
It is safe to swim with though, it's completely harmless.
To reproduce, it does what most unicellular organisms does, it reproduces asexually by binary fission.
