As seen in this picture, my favorite animal is the Red Panda.
It is a vertebrate, meaning it has a spine (and a very cute one at that <3)
Since it has a spine, it is in the phylum Chordata, along with every other animal with a back bone.
Red Pandas live in southeastern Asia, along the Himalaya Mountains in Nepal, southern Tibet, Bhutan, and northeast India, the highlands of Burma, the Gongshan Mountains, and the Hengduan Mountains.
Red Pandas eat a lot of things, they're omnivores. The eat insects, mushrooms, bamboo, berries, and lots of other forest food stuff.
Like most animals, it walks on its four legs, and moves through the branches of trees when it isn't safe to move on the ground. (Pls tress are so much more fly, like I wish I could walk in trees, winning!)
It reproduces sexually, as all animals do. They use internal fertilization, and the baby grows for about 134 days. They are able to reproduce at about 18 months old.
Fun facts, unlike their black and white panda cousins, the Red Panda is about the size of a racoon. (It's the asian form of a racoon!!)
